Brittany Gitau is a recent graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to receiving her JD, Brittany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Thereafter, she began teaching English as a public-school teacher for the Plymouth-Canton Community School District. While teaching, Brittany earned her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Wayne State University. During her time at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, Brittany clerked for the Michigan Department of Attorney General in the Children and Youth Services Division, and served as a student clinician for the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic in the Family Law Division. Brittany will be supporting the clients of TGQ Law primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate law.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys kayaking, decorating, traveling, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
